ARCHĒA
Anxiety & Overthinking

You already checked the message six times.

Nothing has changed. Your brain knows that. Your body is apparently unconvinced. Overthinking can be particularly maddening when you are self-aware enough to know exactly what you are doing while you are doing it.

You know the thought is irrational. It is still there.

You replay the conversation.

You check the tone.

You imagine what they meant.

You try to work out what happens next.

You tell yourself to stop thinking about it, which of course works spectacularly well.

This is often the part people find so frustrating. The conscious mind already knows there is nothing useful left to analyse.

The response keeps going anyway.

Why does that happen?

Not every emotional response begins with the present situation.

Sometimes something happening now activates an older association around rejection, uncertainty, safety, control, visibility or worth.

The current trigger can be small.

The response can feel enormous.

That mismatch is often a clue that the present moment may not be the whole story.

What does ARCHĒA do with that?

Rather than trying to win another argument with your conscious mind, Root Cause Therapy uses focused conversation and hypnosis to explore the beliefs and emotional associations underneath the response.

We are not trying to convince you that everything is fine.

We are interested in why some part of you believes it is not.

This can show up as:

You do not need to be diagnosed with anything.

ARCHĒA is not a diagnostic or psychiatric service.

You can simply arrive with a pattern you are tired of repeating.

And yes, this works online.

Sessions are private, conducted via Zoom and available worldwide.

You remain awake, responsive and in control throughout the hypnosis process.
